Elkhorn is in the Sun Valley area - located just outside of Ketchum in the heart of the central Idaho Rockies. The famous slopes have trained many Olympic hopefuls but attract a variety of amateur skiers as well. Other winter activities to consider pursuing during your stay might include skating, snowboarding, snowshoeing, dog-sled tours and sleigh rides. Summer visitors will find the Sun Valley area just as attractive to hike or bike the paved trails and off-road paths in the Wood River Valley.
