Skiway Village townhomes are a part of the Skiway Village located in the Warm Springs area of Ketchum. The area includes Sun Valley's Warm Springs Lodge as well as a variety of other shops and restaurants. The ski lifts at Warm Springs serve the north face of the mountain. Mountain Rides is a free bus service running every twenty minutes that stops a few yards from these chalets. It will will transport you to both ski lifts on Bald Mountain, downtown Ketchum, and to the Sun Valley and Elkhorn Resorts.
This beautiful private home offers its guests a perfect setting for a perfect ski vacation. The house has three bedrooms each with its own private, full bathroom. The southern exposure has wonderful views of Baldy. The ski lifts are a short walk from the front door. The house consists of two floors; the lower floor contains a two-car garage (standard or compact vehicles only), two bedrooms, two full bathrooms. The entry level has a powder room adjacent to the entry, the laundry room is also on this level and provides a full sized washer and dryer.
The living area features a floor to ceiling river rock gas log fireplace on one wall and an adjacent wall of large windows with views of Baldy. Next to the fireplace is a 27" TV, a VCR, a DVD player, and a stereo. The bright, open kitchen offers plenty of counter space and the cabinets are faced with maple, there is a hardwood floor in the kitchen area also. This kitchen is fully equipped with an electric range, microwave, dishwasher, icemaker, coffee maker and other appliances. The dining area has a dining table that comfortably seats eight. There is a large deck with a private hot tub. The hot tub has not only privacy, but also has the same wonderful view of the mountain.
The third floor is where the master suite is located. This bedroom offers a king bed, loads of sunshine from ample windows, and an enormous en-suite bath with a whirlpool tub. The master suite also includes a 32" TV.
There are lockers at the base of Warm Springs for ski and boot storage so you don't have to carry them each time you go to ski. For summer time fun there is a bike path along Warm Springs Road that will take you into town or to the area wide bike path that runs north for five miles and south for twenty miles.
