Skiway Village townhomes are a part of the Skiway Village located in the Warm Springs area of Ketchum. The area includes Sun Valley's Warm Springs Lodge as well as a variety of other shops and restaurants. The ski lifts at Warm Springs serve the north face of the mountain. Mountain Rides is a free bus service running every twenty minutes that stops a few yards from these chalets. It will will transport you to both ski lifts on Bald Mountain, downtown Ketchum, and to the Sun Valley and Elkhorn Resorts.
This free standing home has been redecorated in the current "mountain lodge" style we associate with Sun Valley's best properties and was built to the requirements of today's ski travelers. It has well-appointed accommodations with a designer touch. The great room features a floor to ceiling river rock gas log fireplace, windows looking up to Baldy, and access to the southwest facing deck with nice outdoor dining furniture. The very comfortable living areas are placed on the upper level to take advantage of the light and views.
Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. The master has access to the deck and hot tub along with a walk-in fully tiled shower with two shower heads. Two of the lower level bedrooms have patios. This home will sleep eight people, with a king bed, a queen bed and two sets of bridgeable twin beds. Pine doors and furnishings are complemented by polished, distressed hickory floors with colorful area rugs.
The high gloss pine slab dining table seats eight and was constructed especially for this home. The surround-sound stereo system is piped to both the hot tub deck and the summer dining deck facing Bald Mountain. Skiway Village #237 features central air conditioning, a full washer and dryer, a private hot tub, and a 2 car garage.
The comforts and amenities of this home are enhanced by the proximity of the Prospector Club which offers a nice swimming pool and four tennis courts. There are also lockers at the base of Warm Springs for ski and boot storage so you don't have to carry them each time you go to ski. For summer time fun there is a bike path along Warm Springs Road that will take you into town or to the area wide bike path that runs north for five miles and south for twenty miles.
